Actually, there is another way to work around.

1. Just type "Opera:config" (without " and http://) in Opera Mobile

2. Search for "Tab"

3. From there you will see Maximum Allowed Tabs = 3 .... change that to any number you want

Tips! there are other settings that you can play around as well such as scroll velocity (the scrolling speed) give a try !!!
