Guest KoolPal Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 Hi All, PDA: i900DXHH3/DZHH3 PHONE: i900DXHH3 I have searched, googled and given up. My GPRS connection starts on its own randomly. I have turned off the following: 1. Enhanced GPS ->XTRA Enable => disable 2. Clocks & Alarms -> More -> Time Zone updating => Manual only Now I am going crazy whenever I glance at the phone and see the GPRS on!! Please help. If a rom upgrade will help, please tell me which version to upgrade to. Currently I am forced to use NODATA, but its a pain to toggle data on and then browse the net! Thanks a ton.
Guest iTnkD4iAm Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 Try this: Settings > Connections Tab > Connections > Advanced > Select Networks > Under Programs that automatically connect to the internet.... select "My Work Network" from the list
Guest KoolPal Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 Try this: Settings > Connections Tab > Connections > Advanced > Select Networks > Under Programs that automatically connect to the internet.... select "My Work Network" from the list Thanks for trying. This wont help since this will prevent me from using GPRS completely. Nobody else facing this issue? Am i the only one? How can I check what is causing the GPRS to start and also check where is it connecting to?
