I am using the HTC Touch (400) driver from Redfly on the Omnia was described as working ok by Paul in an earlier post. I just upgraded to DXHJ1 and was in the process of reinstalling my software. I had the occasion to take a pic of my daughter and after reviewing it pressed the (X) close button on the application. My Omnia locked up right there showing whatever was in the camera view. Keypresses sounded but nothing i could do would force it to the home sceeen. Power button did shut off the screen but a reset had to be done to get it back online.

After Uninstalling Reinstalling Apps Problem stopped when Redfly driver was uninstalled

Anyone else have similar issues.

To my knowledge nothing odd on my Omnia Phone & PDA both DHHJ1.

Paul, anyone?

To CelioCorp: I have discovered that the Redfly driver (version .70) crashes my

Samsung Epix camera. I can take pictures, but cannot close the camera

without resetting the phone. Removing the Redfly driver solves the

problem. Reinstalling the driver makes it come back. I have found one

other instance of this reported in another forum (Samsung Omnia).

CelioCorp response:

Thank you for your email. Yes, this is a very well known issue and something our development teams are trying to solve. We hope to have it compatible very soon. My suggestion is to stay close to our web site and blog for those updates.

Have a great Tuesday!

It seems that Celio could at least give us the option to unload the driver so we could use the camera.  This bug makes the Redfly completely worthless, I bought it with so that I could take it when I travel, the time I need the camera most.
