Activesync stops when starting to upgrade to 6.1

Hey all,

a little late but trying to upgrade to WM6.1. XP version. After starting the set up activesync loses the connection when the phone goes into downloader mode, so I never get to the option of clicking the start button. Feels like I have read all the posts and cannot find the solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

O.K. just completed took 15 minutes once I unplug the usb and plugged into the 2nd usb all o.k. Now just need to go set everything up. We'll see how it goes. thanks for checking
