Can't add contacts to 'speed dial'

Hey,

I use the 'samsung today 2' theme on my today-screen. Very nice option seems the speed dial, where you can select contacts from your list and add the to speed dial buttons.

As I want to add a contact, I remove the stop sign on top, select a square and get sent to the contacts list to select a contact. So far so good. As I select a contact, the list dissapears, but the contact is not added to the speed dial menu ??? What am I doing wrong ?

I have spb installed as well ...
