Settings for when Screen is locked

Really dont know how to put this :lol:

When the screen is like below (phone on, locked and backlight off)

Is it possible to get the time on it or anything like that? ie sms, email message logo when one is received?

If someone would like a pic of what I mean then i'll take one as i had this setting on my old phone.

Sorry it is so vague, it would just be handy to look down and see the time without having to turn the backlight on :D

In settings - power - calling - do you can change if backlight will be off or on and do you have a timer too....
