How to properly edit CSC part ?

I've seen many interesting stuff (Reg entries, etc.) either to remove or modify in the CSC file, but do we know a way to edit that ?

As an example, shozu init reg entrie is located here, how did you ROM makers removed that, since you removed Shozu ?
