Guest gravityz Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 i have a omnia i900 and i like it a lot the phone fuctionality however is so pocketpc like eg when you search for a number you press in the letters and it finds the entry(this is good) the entries however appear right above the keypad and are way to small to be used with your finger.(pocketpc style) why not make a new phonelike application in which you can use the touch functionality so you can scroll with your fingers through the numbers on the right side make a bar with letters so you can quickjump to enties and scroll from there. surely this must be available for this great device thanks
Guest mobilehappy Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 Omnia have its own system in the phonebook app, which actually works in the way you have described you want it to.
Guest samjuan Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 Are you talking about the iPhone? :D this is a windows mobile not apple mobile  No seriously... ehem ok I know a lot or you hate me by now, but I agree with mobilehappy, Samsung's own phonebook "hatchiphoncloneooo, excuse me" does exactly what you have described in your post, you should find it in the main menu or in the start menu... however this is windows based mobile, so you will always encounter a button or checkbox that is so tiny and needs a stylus or something to press it... annoying I know but this is how it is... please don't be mad at me Omnians, I'm still one of you... ;)
