Guest jeffrey2000 Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 (edited) Well the same dutch Samsung site has the "i900XKHJ3.MLI" and "i900CEHJ2.MLI" (both 120MB), I suppose it's just a big language update... MLI (multi Language Interface??) just a guess... both the XK and CE codes are unknown... H(2008)J(oktober)2 or 3(nr release), and well the latest english rom is from Australia DTHJ5 (5th release this month). Edited October 23, 2008 by jeffrey2000
Guest Tjeutje Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 I updated my phone with rom XKHH4 to XKHJ3. After the upgrade the version info says: PDA: i900XKHJ3/i900XKHJ3 Telefphone: i900XXHH1 The Omnia definitely has become faster after the upgrade. The touch screen seems to have become more sensitive. The Wifi connection seems to have been improved also. So the upgrade seems to be an improvement fix, since I couldn't find extra add-ons.
Guest robertoaitor Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 Hey, I could say if that is multilingual and language carries?. Thanks

Guest X-t-r-e-m-e Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 Is this update necessary for my dutch Omnia PDA i900XKHH1, Telefone i900XXHH1???? Necessary is a big word. Depends on wether your phone works for you or that you have problems with certain stuff. Rom updates solve problems which not everyone experiences. On the other hand, most roms have new small updates like improved scrolling and such. In my opinion it's worth to flash your phone, on the other hand ... it could go wrong
Guest squeezo Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 Question here, I am a Dutch owner. My omnia is unbranded and came with firmware XKHH1. After all the postive reviews on DXHJ3 I decided to upgrade. For me I dont think it is better than XKHH1 , screen sensitivity-wise. Will DXHH1 (the only HH1 version I can find here) get me back to my old firmware but in english? English I really dont mind , but the software and features are important. Also fingerscrolling never occured to me in XKHH1 (fileexploere and ieexploere) I found this out in DXHJ1. Can anybody confirm here that this is true or did I just not notice it in XKHH1? Eric

Can anybody confirm here that this is true or did I just not notice it in XKHH1? Fingerscrolling was already supported in XKHH1, so I think you didn't notice it.
Guest henror Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 I have one question. Why is my software after update by PDA: i900XKHJ3/XKHH1 and not PDA: i900XKHJ3/XKHJ3 (last 5 signs are different) or am i wrong and did something wrong???

I want to get rid of the (stupid) branded interface (t-mobile colors, less features etc.) Now I've downloaded: i900_Dutch_XKHJ3 Is it smart to flash my phone? Is this the latest version? What about the guarantee? How can I flash? Is it Safe? Many thanks in advance, Best Regards, Rick
