Guest chokia Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 Full charged gets green LiION or Li Polymer has similar capabilty of charging or discharging or recharging at any battery level or any status of your phone, doesnt matter if it is ON or Off. So less maintenance. Performance of battery pretty much affected by the OS and the applications whether it is optimized or not.

Guest ivanxxx Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 I think I have a related question. I'm always triying to full charge and full recharge the battery. It was look like worked on my old nokia in the way keeping it in life for more than 30hours with approximately 2 hours of talk time. And it was 3 years old with the same battery.. Now I want to know if there is a good way to quickly drain off the battery for healthier recharging?? Or am I just making all up. (no)

One good way is to turn on GPS and watch a movie  by the end of the movie it should be dead. Or log onto rapidshare and turn on HSDPA and download a 200 mb or 100 mb file, it should go down a lot :D.

Guest Meen Posted October 25, 2008 Report Posted October 25, 2008 Li-on and Li-Polymer have a little different! If you completely discharge Li-on battery. It will not able to charge any more. But on Li-Polymer this problem is resolved.

Hello, when your Omnia is fully charged, it will beep and notify you. Also, the power button on the top will turn green (when it is red it is still charging, don't unplug it). I'm no expert, but I've just gotten my Omnia and I have found a lot of ways to save your battery during the day. Go to this link to get the full info-- http://troubleshootingmylifeaway.blogspot....ung-omnias.html --but here's a brief summary: -disable wi-fi and bluetooth connectivity, and set your wi-fi only to be used when programs need it (see the link, it will explain). -change the phone settings to turn off your backlight as much as possible, and check to make sure you activate the phone's power save modes for everything. -there's more, see the link, and hope this helps!!! link again: http://troubleshootingmylifeaway.blogspot....ung-omnias.html good luck :)
