Is there any way to get flash lite 3.1 working on omnia?.

I don't want to flash it. I have branded device (plus gsm poland) so I'm a bit scared. I saw there is a lot of bricks with branded devices.

I don't need any samsung widgets and other s*it. Omnia is damn good phone but come on.. i need that thing ;-).

I don't have an experience in windows mobile but I've tried to overwrite flash lite files in windows directory (using resco explorer) but it still doesn't work at all.

of course no ;-), I don't want mobile version of youtube.

It looks like this:

Opera > www.youtube.com > clicked link to watch desktop version > opera crashed/ disappear

And I'm sorry for my bad english

Yes if I click on go to desktop version when in youtube it crashes.

But if I type in www.youtube.com it automatically brings up the mobile version which still works perfectly.

Only way its going to work at the moment is with Custom ROM: Manilla2D with FlashLite 3.1 (DTHJ5/M2D01)

Flash Lite 2.1 is not compatible or removable unless you cut it from the rom by cooking it.

The answer is NO, flashlite2.1 is embedded in ROM, you need to remove it by cooking it or use the custom rom.

No not install this cab and type www.youtube.com but it still go to m.youtube.com and claim everything run perfectly.

That is a bit misleading!

Without that cab you still run the mobile version perfectly. Yes perfect in the sense of still watching it in poor converted 3gp quality and not native flv.

Again you need to remove flashlite2.1 by remove it and cook the new ROM with flashlite3.1, then only it will be PERFECT.
