I like the fact that the touch player can show the album art but it's annoying that it doesn't show album art for a large number of albums and also it doesn't import all my albums/songs. Has anyone else experienced this issue and any ideas on how to fix it?

I initially thought that it might be with path length and renamed all my MP3s to be artist\album\xx-song so that it's as short as possible.

Below solution has appeared on this forum some time ago:

Just put the JPG file ( album cover image ) into ALBUM folder and rename the file into "folder.jpg" - ( not album name but just exactly "folder.jpg" )

My additional advice - don't use too large JPG files ( 100kB is max ).

cheers

Thanks for response. I did search the forum before posting but didn't find anything relevant...

I've just checked the folders for the albums which don't show up in TouchPlayer and they already have folder.jpg images in them and are less than 100kb.

Any other suggestions?

Attach here one of these files you can't see as album cover. I will check this on my Omnia.

Shouldn't the Omnia get the album art automatically from the web?

hmm... it worked for me... but...

I chose one MP3 folder with music and deleted all JPG files there.

I put your JPG file into my existing album ( few mp3 songs ). TouchPlayer showed your folder OK.

But then I did DB update ( TouchPlayer function ) and all songs got own JPG image named as suitable mp3 file. These new files were different than your JPG, wich still exists as "folder.jpg".

I did some investigation and using MediaMonkey application I can see that all of these MP3 files has own "hidden" image ( IMHO, inside MP3 ).

So, maybe you should take a look into your MP3 files from that one problematic album ?!

I hope, you will find solution.
