Guest fotski Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 Seem to have an issue with my micro sd card and wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing anything similar. Tried to access my music on the SD card today and noticed it was empty - nothing on it... it used to hold music and garmin XT - tried taking out and putting back in - nothing - tried powering off the BJ II and on again - nothing - took out battery and put back in - nothing - took out battery and sim - nothing Anyone else having similar issue?

Did you try removing the Micro SD card & reading it using your PC via a SD-Micro SD adapter? Anything inside there? If not, then the card must have been spontaneously formatted... I know it sounds strange but this happened to me once when I was using my WM6.1 Cingular 3100. The card was blanked out for no reason.

It sounds like the card may be bad.

Unfortunately I have a HDSC card and I have no reader for PC to read this :D My card reader is old and doesn't support this. I'll go out and grab one today and test it... Was just wondering if someone had seen this before I go spend money (although they seriously don't cost much  )
Guest fotski Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 OK just bought a card reader and can confirm the card is empty! How the heck would that have happened? So, seeing as I had Garmix XT setup on that card, do I have to go through the whole install process again? Garmin XT is installed under program files, it just what was sitting on storage card for Garmin thats gone...
