Guest zkyevolved Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 Hey everyone! I'm just wondering that if you are listening to music through your head phones, and try to type messages, is it me or is it harder to text because the screen is less sensitive or because the music es eating up the CPU. I don't know... Today I tried 3 different players, but writing out a text message or an email was near impossible because of lags and skipping letters. Can anyone verify or prove me wrong? Thanks a bunch!

Guest zkyevolved Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 My blackberry with a 300mhz processor didn't even have this problem :-\ This one is more than double and it's problematic!!! :'(...........................
Guest zkyevolved Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 (edited) Is there any kind of fix for this? How is this even possible? 612mhz processor... Edited November 17, 2008 by zkyevolved
Guest Meen Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 I think because CPU is not running at full speed but about 200Mhz while playing music so that's why you can listen to music up to 18hr+
Guest finaldestiny Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 I'm not sure if this is the problem though. On the M2D03 rom, I can successfully listen to music using the built in player AND launch/use the camera, and it works fine, no lags whatsoever. So it can't be the the music player limits the processor could it? Or maybe the camera forces the processor to utilize its full capacity, hence being able to do both of them at same time? In that case, there should be an easy way to test this right? There must be programs that can check the processor rate at a particular time available for windows mobile.
Guest lastnikita Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 install xcpu scalar and check it again, I heard that it will force the cpu to full speed.
Guest zkyevolved Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 I usually only have problems with the music player. Any music player. The best one i've tried is the windows player, and it lags the least. Also the touch player worked very well, but I still got big lags. It's not really lags actually, it's just that the screen isn't as sensitive, or doesn't pick up on the pressure... I don't know. I'm running the M2DO3 ROM & I love it, I wouldn't imagine changing the ROM unless it's to D04 B). haha. But this is a problem... So you can type out an email while playing music with no lag whatsoever?... Is there a diagnostic tool to verify if the unit is running correctly? Thanks. B) Kent.
