Anoying thing sending text messages

Hello there,

First off all keep up the super nice work with this forum. I am new here but I realy like it.

But I have a stupid question regarding sending text massages. Often when I am trying to type a text message with my thumbs I often press the send button(by accident) and it automaticly sends the text message and I cant stop that. Now I checked the settings and I could not find a setting that it will ask me to confirm the send. I might have over looked a setting. But if it is impossible to do in the settings is there any external program wich can help me solve this problem?

I know what you mean... the amount of half written texts I've sent since I got the omnia (thankfully none to my friend with an iphone), and emails too it has the same problem.

Only workaround I have come up with has been to wait until the message is written, then add the recipient(s) and his send.

Also when sending its so annoying when you put the recipient in and it auto moves to top of page to Cc and Bcc and not down to the message input box which would be far handier. A better texting program would be nice :lol:

One which deals with delivery confirmations a little better would be nice too. Like the way it did on my SE W900i.

Hi Guys,

I totally agree, writing messages on Omnia is terrible. Friends have to think that I'm all day drunk when flooding them with empty/uncompleted messages. One confirmation dialog window after pressing of the Send button could solve it all.

Any ideas / workarounds (other that already mentioned)?

There's a program to switch the task bar at the top with the menu bar at the bottom. Doing that will put the send key out of reach when typing messages. Forgot what the program is called now but a google search should bring up something :rolleyes:
