Incorrect software version - OMG

Hi all.

I've searched and searched but now I'm struck. I change the phone to singapore etc, i've tried the various ways of connecting the USB (hard reset pin at time of connection etc) but is still says incorrect software version!

Please help. There must be something else.

Hello

Edit you updater with a hexadecimal editor :

http://www.hexworkshop.com/

When you open your updater with hex editor, in right, you see many code, go to bottom, and you see "DU" and your rom code updater ( example, for rom AEHH2, you see AE ) change in your rom actually in you phone ( example, if you have in your phone a DXHH3 rom , change AE in DX )

And go up ( slowy, no to top ) and you see i900.. ( for AEHH2, you see i900XH ), change i900XH to i900DX

And final, go to file, save as, et save as in name you choose ( example updatermodified.exe )

Thanks for your help. I altered the srtrings to XX (my phone) but is didn't work. The error is still incorrect software version.

There must be some way around this.

Because, I test that, and only rom it's OK

What"s your rom ? and What's rom do you want installed ?

I am trying to update to HH2 or HH3, both downloaded from samsung.

Okey so you do :

Edit the HH2 or HH3 updater with Hex Workshop

In right, go to bottom, you see XX

Change XX to DX ( because, your rom name is DXHH2/3 )

Go " more high " and you see i900XX

Change i900XX to i900DX

Now, save as your updater ...

Try to edit the rom who do you flash with hex workshop

Open your updater exe with hex workshop ( if you use DTHJ6 ) change in bottom DT to XJ and more up i900DT in i900XJ and save as

Edit your rom ( HH2 or HH3 ) with Hex Workshop and in bottom changes HH in you actually rom ( if it's DX*** changed HH in DX )

And more up, change i900** in your actually rom ( if it's i900DX changed i900DX in i900HH )

Can you tell us what line from the Philiphines Vista .exe file we have to change..

In hex program it has line numbers.. if you could tell us it would make things more easy.

I searched for i900 it has 169 entries.

my phone verson is -

i900DXHJ1/DZHJ1

PHONE I900DXXHJ1

i don't want chinese input so that is why i want the Philipines Rom, but when i tried to laod it it says wrong version

Are you changed DZ to XX in bottom, and i900DZ to i900XX more up ?
