Hi!!

My SPV arriving later this week (fingers crossed) so I'm already trying to get to grips with what it can do, so I can hit the ground running.....

I can't be the only person in the world who wants a nice Audi TT theme - either with a photo (can I use my own?) or the proper "TT" logo... (and perhaps the 4 rings logo too)

I've checked a few of the online sites but can't find anything......

So...

a) does anyone fancy having a go for me?

;) can anyone recall seeing one anywhere that I can audition?

Dumb newbie question - no issues getting PocketPC themes to work on the Smartphone then? Absolutely interchangeable?

I like my gadgets and am techy, but lagging behind in this particular area.......!

We meet again and i am waiting for a TTR theme as well. I escaped here away from KMP.

You could corner the market here in SD cards

PocketPC Themes will not work on the SPV because they are compiled as tsk's!

PocketThemes.com is the largest PocketPC Theme site in the world (just over 37,000 Themes) and has over twice as many Themes as our next nearest rival!

Follow this link for Audi TT Themes: -

http://www.pocketthemes.com/download.php?q...di+TT&op=search

If you want to use the images that were used with these themes you would need to use a Thememaker programme to extract the image which you could then re-size for the SPV's screen

I have just added a SmartPhone Theme Category to the PocketThemes.com website with the intention of adding SmartPhone Themes to the sites resources ;)

I'll post a link when it's up and running

But it also states that not all of them will work

due to touch screen etc.

So getting a working theme from there might be a bit hit and miss

OK....I stand corrected...tsk's will work if you don't mind downloading hundreds of themes to find one that will work, if you don't mind losing your colours when you turn the phone off, if you don't mind setting your text to black for certain themes....and so on and on :!:

My original statement still stands, tsk's are not capable of being properly run on the SmartPhone platform as the link you posted says

Why would anyone go through all the bother of messing around with tsk's when they could just download the SmartPhone Theme Generator and make themes that *ARE* designed to be run on the SPV's :?:

However, it was an interesting link rit_d ;) Thanks for bringing it to my attention

JampoTT & M4TTC

;) So, how many more TT Forum members are lurking here? Definately not Kev Powell.

JampoTT - create your own theme and colour shcmem by checking out my site http://www.smartconfig.com/smartphoneclub. You can upload your own TT pic, change the colour scheme to suit and have it SMS'ed straight to your phone.

Let me know if you have any problems or need any tweaks and I can try and sort it for you.

Here's a quick theme that I've just put together for you. Had a bit of trouble trying to find a decent pictute for it. Most were the ususal 'wow look at my car' snapshots. So if u have a pic that you'd rather have in the theme, give me a shout.

Hope you like it......

Don't talk to me about Audi...

My A4 3.0 Quattro is off the road atm with the dreaded Coil Pack problem.

Wow I'm honoured!! :)

Thankfully my Audi is a 2001 so will not suffer from the coil problem....

The screen is great thanks! I also downloaded the SmartOS and ended up using the TTR background as my custom wallpaper, and with the grey/black bars it looks great (my own is a Silver TTR!)

I have some quite cool photos (including some nice detail shots) if you fancy doing something with them? One in particular is a full picture of the circular filler cap with a tiny TTR keyring on top of it..... the picture I would probably use as MY background if I was anygood at art / resizing etc....
