You don't need SPB Mobile Shell if you want to use M2D Themes. Just download one M2D theme (*.zip or *.m2dct), put it on your Storage Card or My Storage (eg. Storage Card\Themes), Open M2DC, go to Themes, click on Add, Browse to where you put your zip or m2dct theme, then Apply Theme.

M2DC = Manilla2D Customizer

If you used PaSSoA's Custom Manilla 2D ROM, you got M2DC by default, look for it on Program Files\M2DC if you can't find it on the Programs list/menu.

You can also download and install it yourself. Get it at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=427392

Then follow what I post the first time.

Download the latest version of M2DC http://manilla2dcustomizer.googlecode.com/...C_v0.17.183.CAB and install.

Download some themes from http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-omnia-r...emes-for-omnia/

or http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-omnia-r...uc-dthj6-m2d02/

Copy them to "My Storage\Program Files\MD2C\Themes".

Open MD2C , Themes and locate where u have copy them.

Apply theme.

Guys, just run this, then choose to install on device, to overwrite the ROM's existing M2DC. If you didn't flash your ROM, then you can choose to install wherever you want. Device, My Storage or Storage Card (if available).

Since I flashed my ROM to PaSSoA's 2nd M2D version, I installed my M2DC on the Device as to overwrite it and then go with the usual adding of themes, etc.

Oh! DO NOT unzip to PC. Copy the *.cab directly to \Storage Card\

Then from the Device itself, using the File Explorer, run that cab file, choose to install on your Device, when prompted (not My Storage nor Storage Card, since you flashed your ROM with the Manilla ROM)

I had a problem with adding themes. I'd extract the whole theme directory (all the files) to my storage and browsed to the folder in M2DC settings, but it would insist on every theme folder that there was no htchomesetting XML file, or any HH_ files when I could clearly see them msyself.

To solve this I just replaced all the theme files in \Windows and soft reset, works fine. If I don't like a theme I'm trying out I restore it from the settings, if I want to keep it then I back it all up.

Hi All ,

I have a problem and it is really annoying me ... So please please help me !!!

When i apply themes using M2D Customizer ... on weather widget i can only see half image of the bottom weather forecast i.e the small 4 day forecast just above the tabs .. the other half is all black ... and same happens on the people widget i cant see the full image of the bottom contact frames unless i scroll up n down but then if i scroll to message widget i can the half that was covered by black strip or etc appears on the bottom .... but the funny thing is if i copy and replace setting.xml file in the windows directory manually and restart the touchflo .. and scroll from home to people and so on everything piles up on eachother :S ..

And when i apply these manually by copy& replacing the files in windows directory and restart the touchflo it works perfectly fine but then if i use m2d cutomiser to choose between analogue clock and digital .. it doesnt work :S..

I dont mind copy & replacing the files .. its just simple easy when applying themes using M2D cutomizer ... Cuz for some wierd reason you cant see windows folder when using mobile device manager on windows vista ... :S

Thanx

I am having an odd problem with my Omnia - on the email tab, all I see is SMS and MMS. No Outlook email. How do I make it show up?

(it is my default email, and the only one I use - I have disabled the account picker when starting the Messaging applet)

Thanks
