Guest creeping death Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 hi, i m fairly new here, this is my first post  i got myself a htc p3400i phone(htc gene). its specs are available here. i m new to pda or smartphone scene, my last phone was a nokia 1100 type phone, strictly for sms and calls and nothing else. but i have an ipod 5.5 G 30GB so i never really needed a smartphone or a pda for on-the-go entertainment... so...anyway...now that i have this new phone, i copied a couple of ipod video files(ipod video files are mp4 files with aac audio and divx/h264 codec at 320x240 resolution) into the memory card and used windows media player to play...but the video frames would not syncronise with the audio, the video would display as if i were watching it in slow mo... i am just wondering what is the ideal video format for wm6 mobile phones like mine???
Guest 1Mack Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 You have to convert your vids to the format that the player on your device likes OR install a player that will play what you have. Your device has WM Media Player on it so convert you vid files to WMV or get a player that will tackle what you have anyone...???
Guest creeping death Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 but should it lag? i mean can it lag and go out of sync??? what might be the culprit? the format? the processor? the OS?
Guest creeping death Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 [solved] it turns out that it was a frame-rate issue...
