Guest bellwhiff Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 Hi. I am having issues getting the Internet to run with Orange as my provider. I have spoken to them on numerous ocassions and have the APN set correctly, but when I try to access using either Opera or IE, it just hangs. I have been told by Orange that I should do a hard reset, but as I have SPB etc on there, I am a bit wary of doing this as it appears to be a sledgehammer / nut thing. Does anyone have any clues? Regards

Regards I had the same issue with a Vodafone/SFR version of the Samsung Omnia. The cause was a third party software that installed low level components. Those low level components (LSP) were hanging the Windows Mobile connection manager. Uninstalling the app was enough. But at first a hard reset did it ... You should try to uninstall each app you added then test again, until you find the one that probably hangs the connection manager. If it does not work, hard reset !
