Guest cavalier666 Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 tomtom working perfect here but ! do you guys find that its slightly behind ? as though its running slightly slow ?
Guest Tim0 Posted December 20, 2008 Report Posted December 20, 2008 I've tested my X1 running TomTom 7 next to a TomTom One device while riding in a car. It is in fact slower than a original TomTom One device, but the lagging period was only half second to a whole second max. So there, TomTom7 on a X1 isn't that slow! Really enjoying using tomtom 7 cause it doesn't use internet for the GPS function, unlike Google Maps..
Guest Hurgle Durgle Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 I've had bad experiences with Tomtom sending me in the wrong direction down a street (due to its numbering information being incorrect) and putting me on the wrong side of the street at my destination.
Guest Gorskar Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 I'm using co-pilot 7 on the X1 - it appears to work fine, although the buttons in the menus appear a little stretched as they aren't designed for that resolution (very minor issue - still perfectly fine)
Guest ammi Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 I've been using TomTom 7.9 for a few days now and it works like a charm. I've tried 7.4 but I had to use the stylus to type in the adresses so obviously I looked further. Try it guys!
Guest angelinalove Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 No I am not using any gps on my xperia x1 but looking for any trusty brand.
