RDS radio on Omnia?

Hi there everyone. I have read that the omnia has an rds chip. Is it possible for the omnia to display radio station names etc rather than just frequency. I have been through settings etc whilst playing radio stations, but can't find any options to turn on/ off etc.

I have a vodafone branded omnia if that helps.

it displays the radio station name if the station supports RDS, with mine, some stations have names, some doesnt have.

Thanks for the reply, I expected radio 1 to broadcast it's name at least , but nothing at all. All i get is the station frequency on all the channels. Not a big deal, just nice to know what channel your listening to.

Anyone found a good streaming radio player , like I had on my N95 yet?

Mine gets the RDS for radio 1 but only if the signal is good and strong. As for streaming I have found the best way is to download the RealOne mobile player (http://www.real.com/realmobile/download.html) and then browse to bbcradio.mobi

You can click the station and either open the resulting RAM file which will open real player and play it or save it to make accessing them easier in future.

BTW, you can register with fake details on Real website
