Guest helladios Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 There is a directory under \Windows, called \Ring. Everything you put in there is recognised as a potential "ringtone".

Guest Billou Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 This is how i did it: My Device>Application Data>Sounds and add an MP3. Okey but the memory in My Storage is bigger of My Device ...
Guest acce1001 Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 Okey but the memory in My Storage is bigger of My Device ... I got this from another thread- On your My Storage , create another folder called My Documents. Copy any mp3 into this folder and the mp3 will appear in all the selection for Sounds and Notification. This means it does not eat up on your phone memory. Note: Be careful not to use long tune mp3 files because I am having problem of the the sound "not stopping" even if I acknowledge the notification. It will play the entire MP3 then stop. If another sms comes in, it will again play the MP3 again(means 2 tunes at the same time). I am still waiting for somebody to respond to my earlier post for assistance.

Guest Dub-77 Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 NO I HAVE TRIED ALL THE TIPS AND NOTHING SEEMS TO BE WORKING I AM TRYING TO SET A SMS MESSAGE TONE You gotta drop the tone you want into the WINDOWS FOLDER then you will be able to see it when you look under sounds and notifications...
Guest doppelganger63 Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 You gotta drop the tone you want into the WINDOWS FOLDER then you will be able to see it when you look under sounds and notifications... Don't really want to do that. It takes up device memory. It also makes it harder to remove it if you want to change the file. Just follow # 14. Unless you could care less about memory usage. Steve
