Guest SSR Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Hi folks, When bringing my phone out of standby I noticed that it seems to reconnct to wifi, suggesting that it isn't connected while in standby and doing things like Activesync-ing. Does the Wireless LAN power setting for best performance prevent this? To try and save on data charges. Thanks
Guest andybarker Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 This is the normal behavior for Windows Mobile. WiFi will zap the battery very quickly, so it is assumed that you want to turn it off when you are not using it. There is an option in AdvancedConfig to disable this.

Guest Conur87 Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 tried advanced config however it still powers down the wifi during standby. On advanced config, the dialog box about the wifi on standby mode is checked. But still the phone turns wifi off.
