Guest efjay Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 (edited) Does anyone know of any free software to access your pc from the Omnia? I have XP home so there is no remote desktop on the pc so I need another solution. I'm not sure if there is still a VNC client still available, any suggestions? Thanks Just tried Remote Touch http://www.t2remotetouch.blogspot.com/ but it doesnt display the remote desktop properly, probably because of the resolution. Edited October 31, 2008 by efjay

Im pretty sure you should be able to find a VNC client for WM6 somewhere on the web. Also, there is always logmein which definately works on winmo: https://secure.logmein.com/ However... if it is just a way to access files remotely that you are after then have a look at hamachi: http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=...p;mode=threaded Although it seems that logmein have removed the mobile client from their labs page, so i have attached it to this post.hamachi_0.0.3.1.cab
Guest efjay Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Thanks, I actually use logmein but comparing it to live mesh's remote desktop it is slower so I want to uninstall the desktop client but need some other way to connect from the Omnia.
Guest Dodger747 Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 I use Mocha VNC. Works perfectly for both my Mac and PC with various resolutions. Highly recommended...

Remote Touch v1.0 fixes the startup display. If you zoom in or out and want to get back to a proper scaled display goto Menu > Reset. Enjoy !
