SMS HELP!!

Hey guyz! im having such a problem right now with my omnia :lol:. When i recive a SMS the phone doesnt vibrate or rings AT ALL!! i dont know what to do! i already checked the profile options and the sound and notifications options and everything its set correctly!!and when i recive a call the phone does vibrate! can someone PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!! please i dont know what to do

Did you try to reset your phone?

if yes, did you try to hard reset your phone?

if yes, then take it to your service center.

My gf is facing the same problem with Omnia.

SMS got no alert tones or vibration. Start > setting > Sounds & Notifications > Notifications > Messaging: New Text Messsages, Play Sound box ticked, Vibrate box ticked. Event box ticked in Sound page.

But Phone is working well with ring tone & vibrate.

Any expert can think of any other settings to be done or even registry configuration? This should not be the hardware problem but software configuration or ROM.

Thank you Yunabeco. This solved my problem. Now my SMS has tone.

I reverted back the registry changes. Install the CAB. Run the CAB to install. Reset phone. Works.
