Guest ivanxxx Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 it should stay connected unless you restart the machine or disconnect the phone, what happens on your comp? I had the same problem before and it was about a conflict between s2u2 and battery management I think. I had turned off all options for "on charge" in s2u2 and disabled "close the device" while on charge from system power options. Now it works OK but I couldnt figure out what is the main problem.. Good luck.
Guest M Seif Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 I will give u a solution that worked for me 100% , yet not sure why but it is deifinitlya conflict. Disconnect any type of metwork on your pc ( ASDL/WiFi/GPRS/3G ) , and you will fine it stays connected. This solved the problem for me on XP and Vista. let me know
Guest SGelli Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 If you don't like to disconnect all connection each time you connect AS, you could also change the setting at "Start / Settings/ Connections / USB to PC": just deactivate the function "Ext. Network functions..." and it should stay connected all the time. I had the same problem and this solved my problem. The only difference to before is that there's a popup that shows the connection status for 1 sec. when I connect the Omnia to the PC. Greetings, Simon
