[NEWS] Samsung T*OMNIA (Eternity) for Korean Market

Samsung Korea announced this Morning the T*OMNIA, the OMNIA’s big brother. If basically both the OMNIA and T*OMNIA are similar, the Korean version has some improved features, with :

- A slightly larger Screen 3.3” (Regular OMNIA has only a 3.22”)

- A Higher Screen Resolution of 480 x 800 (Regular OMNIA has only a 240 x 400 screen resolution)

- A DMB TV Tuner (Digital TV Tuner)

I would love to see the i900 Omnia thread split into sections like XDA does for its devices, frustrating to scroll through pages and pages of useless repetitive noob rubbish.

You can see that the first word of the address is NEWS so, what did u expect from this thread (If you are a Korean citizen u can get a Samsung T*OMNIA for free) :lol: :D

And since this section (OMNIA) doesn't has a NEWS division so I had to post it here as just a heads-up...

Anyone else noticed that Today BG is maybe an advanced mode from Samsung D900 which was based on day/night conditions and now weather...

If that is true it would be a nice touch by Samsung...

and did you notice that the today screen doesn't have the upper or lower stupid useless WM bars and only the widgets? that is a classy touch...

Why the spec never list how big the rom/ram???? 480*800 resolution should need a bigger rom to handler. OLD OMNIA 128MB TOO SMALL.

SCH-W550 SCH-W5500 isn't WM.

SCH-M490/M495 IS WM 6.1 and work on BOTH GSM/WCDMA !!!! But all language is KOREAN.

SCH-i910 WM 6.1 will be available in US, CDMA ver.

SGH-V930 (930SC Softbank) isn't WM.

There is another upgrade version of i900 OMNIA will be coming in next year :lol: Name has been decided, but I can't tell you guys yet.

It's Official: "T*OMNIA (Eternety) has an user-friendly “Today” idle screen as well, which is automatically converted as weather and time changes..."
