Car charger

I just got my car charger and holder mount I bought in Ebay.

But when I connected the charger, I didn't see any charging sign, also on the charger there is a sticker saying "For Samsung G600.

My questions are -

1. Is it possible that my phone is charging without showing the charging symbol?

2. If not, is there any car charger for the Omnia?
