omnia sgh-i908 need english rom

Dear All, I have bought a Samsung Omnia SGH-i908 in Hong Kong and it is Chinese windows OS.

Can any body help me what to do? How to change to English OS. I am very new to this Forum and this is my first post. Your help is much appriciated. Otherwise I can not use my dream phone.

Please show in details. I have contacted HK Samsung service center but they told me that I can not change to English language. Thank you in advance.

I live in China and want to buy but can only get Chinese platform....

Is it easy o change? I want an English Platform

Do you void any warranty if you change?

Would love to go out now and buy one ...but until I am sure I can change it I dont want to .

I am not very familiar with the operating systems sand I cant read Chinese so I hope any change is easy and step by step

I was in the same situation till I followed this step by step guide I found here on the forum:

You have to be very careful when trying to change the firmware of your phone cause it may brick your phone.

I need the i908 English rom too! My phone's from Taiwan, so I'm stuck with Chinese. I tried the link in the last post, but it doesn't go anywhere. This may be a stupid question (I've never attempted flashing rom before) but do I need a Taiwan rom or can I use the i900 HongKong English version. Someone help out a newbie!

Found a couple hong kong English roms (i908zhhh1_eng & i908zhhh1_eng). gonna test them out on my Taiwan i908. I'll let ya know what happens........

I flashed my Taiwan Omnia using i908ZHHH2 ENG and it worked!

All other i900 roms didn't.

Is there a newer English i908 Rom?

i need rom 6.1 OR 6.5 I908 CHINA OR ENGLISH IS OK...HELP
