The only thing I CANNOT get over is - how can I change the icons on the SHORTCUT menu???? It seems like everything is information on how to switch the MENU icons, but whatabout the SHORTCUT MENU?? And now i understand how you can get your today screen background to work in both landscape and portray modes. I'll explane. You will need an 400x400 image. You select it in the theme options. This only works in the theme options other programs will not do landscape. In the next picture i show you what part is selected for portray. In the next picture what part is used in landscape. Hope i am clear enough on this. Next i show you some pictures from my latest launcher. I did it with transitions. First the today screen Transitions (212.bmp and 213.bmp) Menu And here's the launcher with background in a zip file. (For instance, by using a bit smaller font for hour:min. and/or decreasing the empty space between the elements of the panel.) I wouldn't want big changes, I like the overall outlook of the Today 2, just a few more rows, to be able to see e.g. two next calendar items, instead of only one. Guest dragonfly.22 Posted April 15, 2009 Report Share Posted April 15, 2009 If you want to change a make your personal skin, just follow this steps 1-First find the file Launcher.exe.T1.skin in \windows. The file is hidden. 2-Then you must copy the file to your PC and open it (I've used Reshacker). 3-Then replace the images BMP No 212, 214 (for portrait mode) and No 213 and 215 (for landscape mode) with other bitmap images of the size respectively 240x374 and 400x214. 4- Use in Resco Explorer the "COPY TO" and past Launcher.exe.T1.skin file and Finally overwrite it in \windows with Resco Explorer. Broda, I followed 1,2 and 3 - but I must have messed something up because when I try to copy and past launcher.exe.T1.skin file I receive the error that either I don't have enough space or the file is read only and I can't over-write it. Go to start menu, settings, personal, theme The theme color = Black Today Text color = White The Today Color = White is already there, but do not have the Black Color in Theme How to add the Black Color in Theme ?
