Guest bulderhart Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 I normally wouldn't trouble you guys (any gals?) with this, but I've got the weirdest problem and the Linksys forums haven't been much help. I subscribe to 37 Podcast feeds, so I do quit a bit of downloading. I figured the Omnia would be great for that, and it is. (I use BeyondPod by the way, highly recommended!) Anyway, every time I download these files over Wifi (10 - 25 MB typically), my Linksys WAG325N ADSL router freezes. I may take 5 minutes or 15, but eventually it will freeze up on me and I will have to power cycle it to get it working again. I installed the latest firmware on the router and I have 3 other Wifi devices (all laptops) that never create this problem. Also, when I plug the Omnia in one of the laptops and download over ActiveSync (with the laptop using Wifi) it never happens. I tried web surfing over Wifi with Opera - also not a problem. I'm at a loss. What might be so specific about the Omnia Wifi implementation and/or the downloading of large files that it can kill my router?
