Saving text message senders number

I just know i am missing something obvious , but could someone explain how i save the phone number to my contacts, of someone who sends me a text.

At the moment i am having to keep opening the text and replying. :lol:

Open the text message and you should see the number in green, just tap it and it brings up the option to store...
