Manila 2D - calendar and weather questions

Hi,

Is it possible:

- to see appointement instead of 'calendar' on clock screen ?

- to add a new city/country to the database ?

- replace native wm6.1 alarm on clock screen by Omnia clock soft ?

You can see appointment instead of 'calendar' on the home screen - I changed the Calendar link to Thumbcal and set it as the default task viewer (check the Manilla 2D thread on how to do this)

You can add new countries to the weather database, it's very easy, just select Menu->Add Location on the Weather Tab

Not sure if you can replace WM Alarm clock.

You can change it from ThumbCal. Go to Extra and select "use as a default calendar application"

For setting the default clock app as Samsung one, you need to use use SSMaPa2D (already installed on latest PaSSoA rom)

using the following settings:

------

New Program: \Windows\tclock.exe

Working Dir: \Windows

Same you can do for SilverInbox

------

New Program: \Windows\SilverInbox.exe

Working Dir: \Windows

For adding weather for cities not included in the original list, there is a recent thread about this:

M2D 22 release - home tab doesn't have the day. Can someone add and provide patch.

I also want a tab for manilla with normal today tasks+calendar.

I heard about Manilla Today Project but it doesnt work on our device/manilla.

I LOVE manilla tabs and speed and interface, but i really miss a possibility to use Omnia as a Smartphone not a "showcase" phone. I miss my old PDA functionality in Manilla (and TouchFlo in general).

If anybody can add thi feature in CAB or just write really newbie-friendly guide i would apriciate this.
