My Work Network proxy settings wont stay checked

Anybody here experienced the problem with PPC that "This Network connects to the internet" checkbox of "My Work Network" wont stay checked? and it will only stay checked when you put a proxy?

Im not sure with it, but I think I was able to tick that option and not put a proxy, and the settings will stick. Because I remember I put all my wifi connection to My Work Network and my GPRS/3G connection to My Internet, so when using wifi and it doesnt have connection, my omnia wont automatically switch to 3g.

Now it seems that setting is locked down, "This Network connects to the internet" is always checked in "Programs that automatically connects to the internet" and "This Network connects to the internet" is always unchecked in "Programs that automatically connects to a private network."

Maybe anyone here can help me if its the same case with your omnia?

In your connection setting, choose My Work Network on private network and click edit.

and then check this checkbox but dont check that 2nd checkbox and dont put any proxy and hit OK.

then hit ok again, and again. now go back to that screen of My Work Network and see if the check box remained check. Thanks

There is a solution for it found when playing around with the phone.

For Windows 6.5

1. Go to Setting->Connections->connection->Advanced,

Click on select network

and in the first option where it specifies (Internet should connect using) select the option My Internet/Work Internet (Its dependent on user settings, My suggestions is to try both), then you will be able to select the option "This network connects to the internet"
