Therefore you'll need a registry edit program (like Total Commander). If everything is alright, it's possible to switch your omnia off (by pressing "power on/off" shortly), so that it's in standby and the mp3-playback won't stop. ------------------------------- ------------------------------- If somebody else knows another solution (for example a WinMob internal way), please be so kind to tell here - I'd appreciate that! Edited November 7, 2008 by a3nalin

Guest finaldestiny Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 I think its definitely something with your settings. I know when I first got my omnia I used to have this problem but then I i changed some settings (uninstalled s2u2 and used the newer version) and now it works just fine. I'm not sure what exactly i changed though, but it could be your rom version since I updated mine a couple times as well. I use the short power off method most of the time and the s2u2 when i feel lazy. Oh & i also use a bluetooth headset to listen to audio, dunno if that's helpful or not
Guest adzrm Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 i tryied using s2u2 and not using it, i have changed 3 ROMS since i bought it and this is the latest official italian... what do u mean with using s2u2 when lazy?? i also used the bluetooth output but does the same.. anyway thanks for your input!!
Guest adzrm Posted November 13, 2008 Report Posted November 13, 2008 i found a solution...not definitive but a solution.use WMP!i dont like it,its not suited for touchscreen but..works. instead tcmp will act like touch player, killing the music... ah this is with power savings On, with switch off after not using of one minute.
Guest adolfotregosa Posted November 13, 2008 Report Posted November 13, 2008 wtf ?? i do not have that problem because the screen does not turn off while touch player is playing but i can press on/off, no problem !! I am using a more recent rom that you can find here on the forum, so that has to be why I and many ppl will not have/don't have that stupid problem :S The only thing that makes touch player stop playing is with the low bat warning.
Guest samjuan Posted November 13, 2008 Report Posted November 13, 2008 I believe with J1 and later roms, when accessing the "D*mn My Storage, pardon" the device will not go into standby, and will keep the screen on, like if you are downloading something in Opera to it, or receiving bluetooth to a folder in My Storage, or even playing music from it, or practically anything else.
Guest adzrm Posted November 13, 2008 Report Posted November 13, 2008 thank you guys.. i'll wait for a ROM update B) strange things happes with omnia i have to say B)
