Strange internet problem

my mobile connects fine to my wireless router from any room but the internet does not work if im in the same room as the router. if i leave to another room, where the signal strength is lower, it starts working again :lol: is there some setting i need to change somewhere in the modem or mobile to fix this? im using a samsung i600.

Re you definitely connecting to your home network or could you be conecting to a neighbours by mistake?

thank you for the reply. i'm connecting to my home network itself. the internet starts working as soon as the number of bars representing signal strength goes down. when it shows all the bars, it does not. :lol:

i also noticed that if im streaming music from some online website, i can enter the room which has the router and it will still keep streaming i.e internet continues to work. but if i stop it and try to play it again from the router room, it won't let me.
