Samsung Today1 on lite rom ?

Installed the last lite rom by PaSSoA, it is really nice but I need to install Samsung Today1 on it.

The separate cab is there, ( prepared by Dr. Dot ) but it has no icons, only text.

Any way for a solution ?

Yes I had the same problem...I have since taken lite off my phone..

If I remember you need also to install the secstres96.dll, minitoday.dll, minitdyres96.dll

Have a look in your windows folder and see if these are missing.

I do not have the minitdyres96.dll but have the other 2.

Do you think this is why ? From where can I get the missed file ?

Try this you should be able to paste straight to windows as you have no rom file to overwrite.

Thank you very much , nut am embarrassed to say that when I unzip this rar file, the outcome is not seen although there ( if I unzip it again it says will override) . I tried with vista to make it visible so can copy it to my mobile but failed.

You need application called WinRar to unzip rar files???

Google for it....

I just downloaded file and it opened perfectly..

It's the Dr.Dot version, but it is working now! Also, when I tried to download it to my Omnia with Opera Mobile - it wouldn't download correctly. (The Download screen would say 0 Bytes, and .cab wouldn't successfully install) IE Mobile would just try and open the file!

SO I had to download it on my Desktop PC and then transfer. So that might be the problem some people are were having with it.

Thanks Lucavi , but it did not help.

I am after Today1 ( not 2 ) , and this big file ( 29 MB after extracting) , reused to be installed on Omnia , as have no permission.

As you probably saw my chat with Motofone, I have tried to swap the .xml file within that big one, but failed to do. I have 3 programs to zib/cab file but could not.

If you have mor help on that matter , I would really appreciate it very much.
