haptic feedback stopped working

for some reason my haptic feedback has stopped working, i dont really want to do a hard reset only to find out there is a fault with the phone. Is there a test mde i can enter to find out if it is still working?

if it vibrates when u get a call or message then its probably still good....

no vibration on calls either, can i presume its broken then?
