Finding more info on I900! (newbie)

Hi Guys b4 i start jus wanna say thank ya'll u've been doing a good job in assisting persons aleviate their problems. My Question comes as i have now made up my mind to purchase a Samsung Omnia i900.

1. Can the Phone Vibrate and Ring @ the same time? (Coming from a blackberry n it doesnt hav it... annoyin)

2. wheni set the alarm and turn off the fone does it turn itself on to alarm?

3. Are there themes available for the Omnia? ...(coming from a SE P1i and i loved this feature) B)

4. I there any software apps that lets u control who gets to call u? (ie: no withheld calls B) )

5. is there a lock? as in if sum1 picks up ur phone it asks 4 a password b4 continuing so that the device is secure?

Thanks in advance as u all aid in making me make the right decision.... B)

2, you do not turn the phone off as such the OS is still running, pressing the power button only puts the phone into standby.

If you pulled the battery and replaced it without manually powering on the device then the alarm would not work as you need the OS running to activate the alarm.

Is that right? Surely holding the power button turns the phone off and not into standby. You can quickly touch the power button to put it into standby, but the OP was talking about switching the phone off.

The alarm will not work if you turn the phone off I would say, but it's not difficult to try it out!

Tank u Mate, just reminding u tho i hav'nt purchased the phone as yet, trying to find out all i need to kno about it b4 i buy it...

Is there anything else i should kno ie: problems, or should i prep another phone (bear in mind i don't have much money). Didn't like the diamond but loved the diamond pro but it cost more than the omnia so opt for it as it have full qwerty keyboard in landscape mode...

Also can u guys give me a link as to show me some good apps if not all, that is a define must have for the omnia?

and get this instead:

Winterface , Kinoma Play and WishBar Advanced

Unless you are looking for free..

Then go for Manilla 2D

Or a payed/free mix like this:

SPB Mobile Shell and these excellent free skins.

Thanks mate, B) jus would like to know how does the omni alets u kno if u've had a missed call a new sms or email? where does it indicate it using LED on the device... also is there a status led like on the blackberry pearl?

Does it vibrate an ring also when recieving sms/mms/email/imchat?

Do u recieve a audible tone when recieving a call while on a call (call waiting)?

what does the phone do to let u kno its charging like a LED signal?

I kno i might b asking much but please help me if u already have this phone...
