installing applications....HELP!

Can anybody post a step by step guide on the installation process of accelerometer applications. I don't know where to begin. I am a ex-nokia man (sorry) and the process using the n95 was simple. I am trying to locate a 'cab' file for the lightsaber app (!?!) but then where do i install it ?!! what other files need installing and where??!!!!

any help appreciated. I t is probably a very simple process but please bare with me! really want to see what the Omnia is all about!
