Guest saverio Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 (edited) Hi to all, i've owned my i900 for three weeks now, and decided against an iphone on grounds of o2, and against and HTC as the i900 seemed more fun with it's bigger screen and expandability options. I've been reading some of the threads, and have a few questions relating to things which have been covered, but am still not that clear about - so sorry for covering old ground. I've downloaded spb shell and also winterface, however an using spb shell at the mo, as it seems to be more functionally consistent than winterface. I'd like to ask fistly about ROM updating. My phone is a UK i900v supplied by vodafone. The details in 'version' are as follows: PDA :i900XXHHD/ACHH3 Phone :i900BUHH2 I took paul MVP's help in my last thread, and downloaded and installed Powercalc - many thanks paul. I find that it still doesn't show up in my programmes menu as I have to go into the windows directory to find it. Is there a solution to this, or perhaps bringing it up instead of the office calc? I have downloaded and installed task switcher also - once again, thanks paul! Were I to update my rom, what functionality would I gain, or perhaps the advantage of a clean empty system which i can populate with applications as necessary. If this is the case, what would i need to restock as it were - bluetooth and wifi drivers etc, or just programme apps? Also what would you see as the best rom so far? Also, would it be possible to have the HTC touch's neat flipping over calendar clock and weather setup? In essence, I suppose, if you just received your i900 fresh out of the box, what would you do to it in order to unleash the full potential ! Also, is it possible to re-organise the shortcuts in the standard samsung today screens? I really perfer the unclutter of samsung today 1, but would prefer the selection to be Settings : Message : Quickdial ; s i can access the home icons from the main meny button on the side. Sorry for the questions, and hopefully I'll get to contribute more as the knowledge grows? Many thanks in advance Sev. Edited November 10, 2008 by saverio
