Guest Helix Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 How would they honestly know you have updated the software? The staff in the stores wouldnt pick it up thats for sure. I believe there is also a couple of the Voda roms kicking about, so if worse comes to worse you can always just reflash. OR, do what I do and get mobile phone insurance from a seperate supplier just in case.
Guest Helix Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 Also, I would suggest that you start with the basics. I have had windows mobile phones since 2001 when I had my first SPV E200 from Orange. And still, I dont know as much as any of the experts on here. But read and learn and have a go at things yourself, because you will be shocked at the amount of stuff you can do with WinMo handsets. My SPV E200 could play mp3's way before even the concept of having an MP3 player on a phone was thought up. Having said that I could only ever fit a few songs on it due to memory cards being so expensive. I remember paying £30 for a 64mb!! Comical these days. I have just moved from Orange on to the Voda network and I am very pleased with the signal, 3G coverage and speed and also the offer they gave me.
