Guest NikosR Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 Has anyone noticed an indicator, sign or light to show that bluetooth is activated (if not in the wireless manager menu)?
Guest Mig-L - Bell Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 Nop there is no indicator, only when your turning it on/off the power botton will blink blue once... Only that... Cheers

Guest pbrand Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 THere must be a tool or widget... And there is. If you use this free skin for Spb Mobile Shell (not freeware) you have indicators for the telephone, bluetooth and wifi in the [now] screen. Pressing them can also (de)activate bleutooth and wifi (and phone for that matter) B) .

Guest pbrand Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 Yep, Omnia is transformed by these skins on Spb Mobile Shell. Although it does not become any faster using this skin unfortunately B) Sometime I almost want to delete it because Mobile Shell (or the skin?) is not what you would call fast B)

Guest o2_guy Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 in the samsung widget (the one that runs down the left handside) there is a coms manger widget that shows what conenction tools are running
Guest Tulius Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 in the samsung widget (the one that runs down the left handside) there is a coms manger widget that shows what conenction tools are running If it were smaller, I would be using it...But takes 1/5 of the screen...
Guest o2_guy Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 lol dont be lazy then just close it over when you have finished it saves using up storage for another app?
Guest imacken Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 It will make the phone slower...I think I can continue guessing when the phone BT is on or Off... :-D Doesn't make it any slower for me at all. Very fast handset. As I said, those skins and Spb Mobile shell transform the Omnia into a good looking, easy to use handset up there with the best of them.
Guest Massive Attack Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 lol dont be lazy then just close it over when you have finished it saves using up storage for another app? there are instance that it will auto activate, like using it for activesync, after closing the connection, the bluetooth will not auto-off and i didnt turn it on so i'd forget that its on.
