Hey Guys

anyone tried any of these combo's before? Any ideas on the battery performance? I know it says 1440mah but thats not always entirely accurate B)

I see the charger plugs into USB but, I also know many 3rd party USB chargers don't always work correctly.

What ya think?

I bought a similar one to this but from a seller called GPSforLess.

The unit is nicely built, and the spare battery is welcome, but you're right in assuming that the USB cable doesn't work correctly.

Although the battery icon shows it as connected, it doesn't really charge it like the OEM cable. In fact, i'm going to chop mine up so that it actually has the original cable feeding through, as these cradles have the USB cable to the phone terminating into a micro USB at the back and then you have an extension to your pc.

The battery charges through a different adaptor so the cradle has two inputs at the rear - power adaptor to charge battery and the micro USB.

It's handy as a desk tidy for your phone don't get me wrong, but you'll also find yourself taking it out of the cradle in order to use the phone.

I got this one (actually with one battery, for $9.99). Incredible value, they will ship it to you for free too. The battery says Samsung Standard Battery, and looks virtually the same as my original one. So, heck, it might even be a real Samsung battery. It works just fine anyway. I prefer a separate charger, but that's personal of course.
