T-Mobile newbie confused about firmware on i900 omnia

Newbie so please be kind if this already been answered.

I have a T-Mobile branded Omnia (UK) but after reading the forum i don't know if my firmware is the best or not! Battery life is rubbish so i suspect not.

My version is

i900XXHH7/BOHH5

i900BOHH2

How old is my version?

Do i need to upgrade?

Please help or point me in the right direction.

I had the same version HH7 and I recently changed to HJ1 linked from the Roms thread.

Worked perfectly for me with no grief although I was very nervous about doing it. Make sure the samsung driver is installed first, and beware that there is always a chance you could ruin your phone. The phone seems slightly quicker and the screen a touch better to respond but only by a tiny amount. I mainly did it to get rid of T-mobile branding.
