Advice please

Having tried and failed miserably,to get M2DC loaded onto my omnia.

I get this message

"Unable to find Manilla 2D settings file,is Manilla 2d installed"

I thought i had installed it as the message "M2DC_V017.183CAB was installed on your device"

I have a branded ORANGE phone (POSSIBLE CAUSE)

PDA : i900XXHH1/BVHH1

PHONE I900BVHH1

if i open file explorer,it all seems to be there,but,im afraid my knowledge is somewhat lacking in this area.

Now 30 years ago when i had a mobile phone with a 2 kilo battery attatched,i was flying!!!

Can I just check that you have successfully installed both Manila 2D (aka M2D) and M2DC?

It sounds as if you have installed M2DC - which is the customiser package for Manila 2D without installing the basic package Manila 2D. M2DC allows you to change skins and adjust the visual appearance of Manila 2D but it will only work once you have correctly intalled Manila 2D. If Manila 2D has not been installed properly then there is a detailled instruction guide to installing MD2 in this forum.

If you have got both M2D and M2DC installed and M2D is working properly, then try reinstalling M2DC (there is a newer version of M2DC 2.0 released which you should try). I have not had any problems with it working.

well, if it makes you feel any better, you had someone respond to you. i still haven't figured out why my soft reset icon is nowhere to be found and now it looks like my post went the way of my missing icon. i had to hard reset my phone to install the manila 2d interface and i was hoping it would come back but it didn't. now my phone can't connect to my handsfree link in my car and i'm wary of posting another question for fear of not being answered again. B)
