Guest Geniarse Posted January 29, 2003 Report Posted January 29, 2003 Reply from Aim Productions - --------------- Hi Jon, We've got several games and applications ready for release, however we're still waiting to get them certified through Microsoft and Orange. Unfortunately certifying new games and applications for SmartPhone seems to take forever, so we can't release any new products. Please visit our website www.aimproductions.be where you can find the latest news regarding our SmartPhone games and apps collection and upcoming releases. You can also subscribe to our SmartPhone newsletter so you won't miss any of our releases or special deals. By the way Jon, if you've got any suggestions in getting the certifications for our smartphone products please let us know, because we're getting desperate here ! ;) I'll keep you posted. Guest Lojt Posted January 29, 2003 Report Posted January 29, 2003 Ask them to make the uncertified demos/shareware versions available for all their games (if they have any, other then oddysey).
Guest MBoden Posted January 29, 2003 Report Posted January 29, 2003 what i dont understand i why people dont use the Baltimore/Geotrust deal ?
Guest madu Posted January 29, 2003 Report Posted January 29, 2003 They either don't know about Baltimore/.. methods or we might have incomplete info on it. But it does seem to be a pain in the arse even for people that ARE willing to pay for f***g certification. This world is getting security-obsessed for no real reason and with no real security - just the image of it's presense.. Doh!!
Guest akarno Posted January 29, 2003 Report Posted January 29, 2003 Geniarse, have you suggested Baltimore to them. The signup process from this site looks very straightforward: http://www.geotrust.com/codesigning/smartp...phone/index.htm It would be interesting to know if they have used this route and are still having problems.
