Hi,

First post so bear with me, I have a UK T-mobile Omnia on Virgin network and am desperate to get the battery life better than 6-8 hours with very little phone use. I've applied all the settings to improve this i.e 2G rather than 3G, closing all applications & reduced screen brightness to no avail. So now I think I need to flash, my version is PDA:i900XXHH7/BOHH05 & PHONE :i900BOHH2. So the questions are:

1. What ROMS are safe for me to use and are appliciable to UK (language wise).

2. What do I need to flash (is there a step by step dummies guide)!!!

3. Where do I download required for 2 (links appreciated)

I read there is a official UK ROM due out soon, should I wait and any idea when it's due out before I sell my Omnia as a last resort!!!

Thank in advance for any info provided....
