Really confused aboutthe GPS

Hi i am new on these forums...i cant really understand the gps on my phone...i blackjack 2 , just updated WM 6.1,

What i dont get is can i have any gps type progrems like google maps or garmin without internet?

i downloaded gpsid,activategps but cant open it, my phone says

' its not a valid Windows CE aplication'what does that mean??

is there any way for me to have any type of gps on my phone?i am a noob in all this...

You can have a GPS application without the need for connecting to the internet.

When you see the not valid CE this means it is not designed for your device or you are trying to run an exe that should be run on the PC.

Regarding getting your GPS up and running, take a look in this section of the site, there are quite a few posts that should help you.

i ve spent a few hours tryinto understand all thiss about gps...

i ve installed gps test,gps id, google maps, modaco hack....gps test finds me connections says GPS running in like a minute...everything seems good but i cant get google maps working without data at all...do i need to change settings or smth? everytime i try to use google maps it searches and tells me i need a data plan.Idkwhat to do

everything is set at comp4 and 9600

Google maps require you to have a data plan as you need to download the maps.
